Spring - Summer, 2007. Nearly everyone who moves to San Diego makes lifestyle adjustments due to the cost of housing, but that it is more than balanced by the benefits of our climate and indoor-outdoor way of living. People usually move into a smaller home with a smaller lot than they are coming from, and most stay because of the wonderful quality of life here.
In terms of new construction or what is considered to be a newer product are the condominium conversions starting in the $200k range. Those are previous apartment flats which have usually been remodeled and updated outside and inside with new quality features and appliances. There are resale condominiums and town homes starting in the $200k-$300k range.
Entry-Level for new single family detached homes are usually found to start in the $500’s - $600’s. Many newer tract homes start in the $800’s - $1.2M range.
Average entry-level pricing is between $350. to $450. per square foot. However, that depends upon the upgrade qualities put into the home and the neighborhood as the Coastal communities are usually higher per square foot. There are also many newer neighborhoods which include all the amenities and easy access to freeways. Whether it’s convenience and quality of schools or shopping – there is a neighborhood in San Diego County for everyone!

San Diego General Overview
The city of San Diego, America's sixth largest city, is located in the southern-most county (San Diego County) in California. Home to a culturally diverse population of 2.6 million, the city of San Diego is the largest city in San Diego county.

White Water Canyon in Chula Vista is San Diego's only water theme park, guaranteed to be tons of fun for the whole family.
